The world of Legend Of Mir HispaRed – The New Age continues to evolve with a new update introducing fresh equipment enhancement possibilities, significant improvements to hero management and numerous adjustments designed to make gameplay smoother and more convenient.

Among the highlights are the arrival of ArtificierOrb, a new item related to equipment sockets, the introduction of the Burn effect to certain Wizard skills and additional tools for managing hero inventories.

These additions are accompanied by visual improvements, skill adjustments, changes to ViperCave and several quality-of-life fixes that make everyday adventures more enjoyable.

ArtificierOrb: New Possibilities for Equipment Enhancement

The equipment enhancement system receives an exciting addition with the introduction of ArtificierOrb, a new item that allows players to add an additional socket to compatible equipment.

This new feature is accompanied by a service available through the GreatBlacksmith NPC, giving players the opportunity to attempt to extract sockets from items that already possess them.

However, there is an important risk involved: the item used in the extraction process will be destroyed, regardless of whether the attempt succeeds or fails.

If the extraction is successful, the player will receive an ArtificierOrb, which can then be used on another compatible item.

The chance of success also increases depending on the number of sockets present on the item being sacrificed. The more sockets an item has, the greater the chance of obtaining an ArtificierOrb.

Certain item categories are excluded from this system, including fishing rods, avatars, Wings and mounts.

Additionally, the gold cost of using ChaosOrb has been increased by 15%, introducing a further adjustment to the equipment enhancement system.

Heroes: Easier Inventory Management and Greater Convenience

Hero management receives several improvements designed to simplify everyday tasks and reduce the time spent organising equipment and consumables.

One of the main additions is a new Refill Potions button in the hero inventory.

This feature allows players to quickly transfer potions from their main character’s inventory to their hero, using the potions previously configured in the hero’s Auto Potions system.

Restocking a hero’s consumables is now faster and more convenient, particularly during extended gameplay sessions.

Two additional features have also been introduced to hero inventories:

  • Sort: Automatically organises items within the inventory.

  • Merge: Combines compatible item stacks for easier management.

These functions have also received reliability and performance improvements in the main character’s inventory, making item management smoother and more efficient.

Cheaper Resurrections and Idle Mode Improvements

The cost of resurrecting heroes has been reduced by 50%, making it more affordable to bring fallen companions back into action.

An issue affecting Idle mode has also been corrected. Heroes assigned to this mode will no longer teleport back to their owner when the player moves away.

This adjustment ensures that Idle mode works as intended, allowing heroes to remain stationary at their designated location.

Burn: A New Effect for Fire-Based Skills

Magic combat gains a new mechanic with the introduction of Burn, an effect capable of dealing additional damage to affected enemies.

For now, Burn has been introduced to two Wizard skills:

  • MeteorShower

  • FireBounce

This addition expands the offensive potential of both abilities, bringing another element to consider during combat encounters.

Revelation Provides More Detailed Information

The Revelation skill has also received an important improvement.

In addition to its existing functionality, Revelation now displays the HP percentage of targeted creatures, helping players monitor their enemies’ remaining health during combat.

This information is accompanied by a new icon in the target interface, providing a clear visual indication of the Revelation effect.

Several skill descriptions have also been revised to provide clearer and more concise information about their areas of effect.

Redesigned Player and Creature Target Interfaces

The compact interfaces used to display information about selected targets have received a visual overhaul.

Both the player target interface and the creature target interface now feature an improved design, giving them a refreshed appearance.

Together with the additional information provided by Revelation, these changes aim to make identifying and monitoring targets easier during encounters.

More Efficient Inventories, Item Collection and Storage

Quality-of-life improvements also extend to other systems related to item management.

The Sort and Merge functions in the main character’s inventory have been reviewed to address identified issues and improve their overall reliability and responsiveness.

Meanwhile, item-collecting creatures now benefit from a more efficient collection system, improving their ability to locate and retrieve items dropped on the ground.

Crafting materials have also received a particularly useful change for players who accumulate large quantities of resources.

CraftingBooks and items known as Marbles, which are used in the recipe system, can now be stacked.

As a result, these materials occupy fewer individual inventory and storage slots, making crafting resources much easier to organise.

ViperCave: Map and Exploration Adjustments

The ViperCave area receives several changes affecting its maps and movement options.

Some map names within the area have been updated, and the use of Teleport has been enabled in ViperCave1F, providing an additional movement option on this floor.

Map visibility permissions in the BigMap have also been corrected.

With these adjustments, players can no longer view certain maps from outside their respective areas, preventing them from exploring maze layouts remotely without physically travelling there with their characters.

ChatBan: Commands and Fellow Summoning Remain Available

An issue involving the ChatBan system has been resolved.

Previously, chat restrictions could interfere with certain gameplay functions, preventing players from executing commands entered through the chat or summoning their Fellow.

This behaviour has now been corrected.

Players affected by a ChatBan can continue using game commands and summoning their Fellow without these actions being blocked by communication restrictions.

The system now makes a clearer distinction between chat limitations and essential gameplay functions.
