A major gameplay update has arrived in Legend Of Mir HispaRed – The New Age, bringing welcome improvements to loot collection, exciting changes to Wizard abilities and a new way to reroll equipment with ChaosOrb.
Whether you’re hunting bosses, farming for valuable items or fine-tuning your character’s equipment, several of these changes will make a noticeable difference to your everyday adventures.
A smarter way to collect loot
Picking up the right item after a busy fight is now considerably easier.
The ground loot system has been redesigned to handle up to 10 items stacked in the same position, displayed across pages containing five items each.
Rather than collecting everything on top of the item you actually want, you can now browse the stack and choose exactly what to pick up.
The new controls make this straightforward:
Mouse wheel: Switch between pages of stacked items.
CTRL + mouse wheel: Move through individual items within the list.
Hold CTRL: Inspect the selected item’s information and attributes without picking it up.
Left-click: Collect the currently selected item directly.
The selected item is also clearly highlighted, making it easier to identify your target.
This is particularly useful during lengthy farming sessions, when several pieces of equipment can end up lying in exactly the same spot.
ChainLightning and MeteorShower receive powerful upgrades
Wizard players have two improvements to look forward to.
ChainLightning now starts with a larger area of effect, increasing from 3×3 to 4×4. This gives the spell broader coverage from the outset.
MeteorShower, meanwhile, has undergone a more substantial overhaul.
Its visual effects and gameplay have been reworked to make the spell feel considerably more powerful when unleashed. The area it covers and the number of enemies it can hit have also been increased.
Importantly, these improvements scale as MeteorShower is trained and levelled up, making its growing power more noticeable as players invest in the skill.
The result is a more satisfying area-of-effect spell, with a stronger visual impact and greater potential against groups of enemies.
Introducing ChaosOrb: give your equipment another chance
One of the most significant additions is ChaosOrb, a new item available through selected drops and in-game systems.
ChaosOrb allows players to reroll the additional statistics on compatible equipment, removing existing bonuses and penalties before generating a fresh set of possible modifiers, just as if the equipment had been obtained through a conventional drop.
An item with disappointing attributes might receive something much more useful on its next roll. However, the outcome is random, so better statistics are never guaranteed.
This new item replaces the previous Reforge service offered by GreatBlackSmith, which has now been removed from the NPC.
Using ChaosOrb also requires a certain amount of Gold, retaining the cost associated with the former reforging system.
For equipment hunters, it introduces another reason to keep an eye on valuable drops and consider which items might deserve a second chance.
Improved chances of finding enhanced equipment
Loot hunting has received another welcome boost.
The chances of obtaining equipment with additional randomly generated improvements have been increased significantly.
This means players now have a better opportunity to discover enhanced items directly from drops, adding more excitement to regular farming and boss hunts.
Combined with the introduction of ChaosOrb, this change gives players more ways to pursue equipment with desirable attributes.
Combat fixes and TermiteCave improvements
Several important issues have also been addressed.
The Slow status effect no longer stacks incorrectly. Instead, the game now keeps the appropriate applied effect without accumulating unwanted additional instances.
The Dodge protection mechanic has also been corrected to behave more reliably during combat, improving consistency when the protection comes into play.
Finally, several graphical issues affecting TermiteCave maps have been fixed, providing a cleaner experience when exploring the area.
