A major update arrives in Legend Of Mir HispaRed – The New Age, bringing a wide range of improvements to the systems that shape your everyday adventures. From smarter heroes and refined combat mechanics to equipment enhancements, creature balancing and interface improvements, this update focuses on making the game smoother, more responsive and more enjoyable.
Whether you prefer exploring dangerous dungeons, perfecting your equipment or fighting alongside your hero, there are plenty of changes worth discovering.
Smarter Heroes and Greater Control
The hero system receives one of its most extensive AI improvements yet, with significant adjustments to the behaviour of different classes and combat modes.
Heroes now respond more effectively to their selected modes, making better use of their abilities and adapting their actions more consistently to the player’s commands.
A new Idle mode has also been introduced, allowing players to keep their heroes stationary whenever they need them to remain in place.
The HeroManager NPC now offers additional options for managing and personalising heroes:
Change Hero Hairstyle: Give your hero a different look by changing their hairstyle directly through HeroManager.
Delete and Recreate Heroes: Players can now pay a gold fee to permanently delete their current hero, allowing them to create a new one from scratch and explore a different class or progression path.
Several additional improvements have also been made to the hero system, including fixes to visual stat updates after repairing hero equipment.
These changes provide greater flexibility while improving how heroes behave throughout the game.
Combat and Skill Balancing
Combat continues to evolve, with changes affecting both player abilities and enemy behaviour.
One of the most significant adjustments is to ChainLightning, which has been redesigned to affect a 9×9 area instead of bouncing between targets.
This gives the skill a more direct area-of-effect approach, making it particularly useful when facing groups of enemies. To balance the change, its mana consumption has been slightly increased according to the skill’s level.
Creature AI has also received several improvements, particularly in how monsters acquire and maintain aggro towards their attackers. Additional behaviour adjustments aim to make combat encounters more consistent and responsive.
Together, these changes refine the way battles unfold without removing the challenge that makes each encounter engaging.
Gems and Orbs: Rebalanced Equipment Enhancements
The Gem and Orb enhancement system has undergone an important balancing pass, introducing revised enhancement limits and adjustments to their effectiveness.
The limits are now clearly defined:
Gems: Up to 5 enhancements.
Orbs: Up to 7 enhancements.
The effectiveness of individual Gems and Orbs has also been rebalanced according to their effects and power, providing a more consistent relationship between the available equipment upgrades.
Information displayed on equipment has been improved to indicate more accurately which Gems and Orbs can be applied to each item.
In addition, fixes have been introduced for highlighted bonus statistics on enhanced equipment, including additional attributes obtained through item crafting.
Clearer Item Tooltips and More Flexible Storage
Equipment information has received a substantial visual overhaul.
Standard item tooltips are now cleaner, with certain details moved into an expanded information view accessible by holding down the “+” key.
For items containing extensive information, a new double-page tooltip layout provides additional space to display attributes and other details in a more organised and readable format.
Item storage restrictions have also been improved. Equipment and other items can now have independent permissions for Account Storage and Guild Storage, allowing an item to be eligible for one storage system without necessarily being eligible for the other.
These changes make managing equipment and understanding item properties more convenient.
Dungeon Adjustments and Creature Balancing
Several hunting grounds and powerful enemies have received targeted improvements.
In TreeTemple, the entrance coordinates leading to the KR have been corrected. Certain creatures have also had their attack behaviour adjusted to reduce the excessive pressure caused by ranged attacks.
The area’s boss, TreeQueen, has received changes to some of its immobilising attacks, making these abilities less oppressive during encounters.
Meanwhile, SwampCavern now features an increased creature density across its final two floors, providing more enemies for adventurers exploring its deepest areas.
The RhinoPriest has also been rebalanced. Both the duration and the attack reduction caused by its debuff have been decreased, making the effect less punishing.
These adjustments aim to improve the balance and pacing of encounters while preserving the danger of each location.
Visual Improvements and Smoother Movement
A series of visual and movement improvements brings further polish to everyday gameplay.
Mount movement has been refined to feel smoother and more natural, particularly when travelling through areas where hostile creatures attack or obstruct the player’s path.
A new visual target indicator has also been introduced, making it easier to identify the enemy or entity currently selected by the player.
Several creature appearances have been updated:
EliteMinotaur features a redesigned appearance.
The bear summoned by Archers through SummonBear now has a more striking visual design.
ValeBat has had an unnecessary aura effect removed to improve visual clarity.
A long-standing visual issue involving weapon durability has also been addressed. Previously, weapons that reached zero durability could remain invisible in the character’s hand after being repaired, requiring players to unequip and re-equip them. Repaired weapons now display correctly without this additional step.
Interface Improvements and Quality-of-Life Fixes
Beyond combat and equipment, this update introduces several refinements to the game’s interface.
The Quest window now includes informative tooltips for its column icons, helping players understand what each displayed number represents.
Shout messages have received a distinct chat text colour, making them easier to differentiate from private messages.
Certain auction-related texts have also been adjusted where Spanish translations were too long for the available interface space.
The game launcher has also received a useful fix. When its options panel is open, moving the launcher around the Windows desktop now moves the panel alongside it, keeping both elements correctly aligned.
These smaller adjustments help remove everyday inconveniences and make the overall interface easier to use.
