Anti-Macro Measures and Rested System Update in Legend of Mir

At Legend of Mir HispaRed we are committed to maintaining a fair, balanced and enjoyable environment for all players. Recently, we detected that some users have been using macros in an abusive way to gain levels, complete missions or perform activities without actually being present in the game.

These practices create unfair advantages and harm the experience of players who enjoy the game legitimately. For this reason, we are introducing new control measures along with a significant improvement to the Rested system, making active play more rewarding.

Changes to equipment drops

From now on, the following equipment items can drop on death, something that did not happen before:

  • Weapon, Ring, Bracelet, Necklace, Helmet, Earring, Shoulder, Shield, Armour, Boots, Belt and Stone.

This change has been designed as a deterrent against macro use. If a player leaves their character AFK with automated programs or keys, they are at risk of being defeated by others and losing part of their equipment.

This also creates opportunities for players to take action when they notice someone abusing macros, making the game world more dynamic and fair.

Important: mining picks and fishing rods will keep their current safety property and will not drop on death. These tools are considered essential and remain protected from accidental loss.

Improvements to the Rested system

We also want to encourage players to use SafeZones as places to rest and stay connected. For this purpose, the Rested system has been updated with the following changes:

  • Faster accumulation: for every 30 minutes connected in a SafeZone, you gain 10 minutes of Rested, up to 240 minutes.

  • Online only: Rested no longer accumulates while offline, supporting active gameplay.

  • Activates when leaving city: once you leave a SafeZone, your accumulated Rested turns into active time and begins to consume.

  • Pauses on return: if you re-enter a SafeZone with Rested active, the timer stops and will resume when you go out again.

  • Same EXP bonus: Rested keeps the same EXP percentage boost as before.

This ensures that players who leave their characters connected legitimately in cities receive real benefits, without the risk of losing equipment or wasting bonus minutes.

Our commitment to fair gameplay

We know these changes may feel significant, but they have a clear purpose: to protect the experience of fair players and discourage abusive macro use.

We will continue working on new ways to detect and reduce this behaviour, always with the community’s best interests in mind. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

See you in Mir, with more fairness, more balance, and more opportunities for everyone.
