The latest update for Legend of Mir HispaRed brings a wide range of improvements focused on stability, usability and gameplay clarity. This patch addresses long-standing interface issues, improves skill and quest panels, refines combat behaviour and resolves several bugs that could affect both client and server performance. All changes aim to provide a smoother, clearer and more reliable experience for every player.
Visual and Buff Display Fixes
Several visual inconsistencies have been corrected. The effects of EnergyShield and MagicBooster could sometimes remain visible even after the buff expired; this has now been fully fixed. In addition, multiple Spanish translation errors have been corrected to ensure texts are accurate and consistent across the game. These adjustments improve visual clarity and prevent confusion during combat or skill usage.
Group, Guild and Social Interface Improvements
The party interface has been improved so players can now target party members directly by clicking on them in the panel, making coordination easier during combat. The guild interface has also been fixed to properly display long notices without being cut off. Additionally, when inspecting another player, the name of the conquered siege city will now appear if their guild controls one, adding more context to inspections.
Quest Panel and Skill Progression Reworks
The quest panel has received a major rework. Players can now view completed quests and see additional counters showing how many quests are completed, in progress or undiscovered per quest group. These counters do not include repeatable or daily quests, keeping the information clear and meaningful.
The skill upgrade panel using Skill Points has also been reworked to display relevant information before upgrading a skill, helping players decide whether investing points is worthwhile.
Combat, Skills and Balance Fixes
Multiple skill-related issues have been resolved. The Monk skill Punish now correctly increases Max SC instead of Max DC, and Wizard Brainstorm now applies its modes properly. BattleCry now scales its success rate correctly as the skill level increases. Additional information has been added to show what attributes improve when a skill goes beyond level 3, offering clearer progression feedback.
Boss and Creature Behaviour Adjustments
Several AI issues have been fixed to prevent rare server crashes caused by creature behaviour. The special teleport movement used by SnowWolfKing, Gorath and WoomaTyrant, which allowed them to teleport behind players, has been removed. Other teleport-related behaviours from certain creatures have been corrected, resulting in more predictable and fair encounters. The Xtreme event has also been fixed so GreatFoxSpirit no longer appears incorrectly.
Targeting, Mail and Inventory Improvements
A new targeting behaviour has been added, allowing players to lock a target without attacking or moving by using the mouse wheel click. This can be cancelled the same way or when the target disappears.
The mail system now allows players to cancel sent mails directly from the mail interface. Additionally, items known as Stone will no longer drop on death when equipped, protecting valuable equipment.
Stability, Launcher and Miscellaneous Fixes
Several rare crash scenarios related to magic usage and creature AI have been resolved, improving overall server stability. The launcher scaling issue on displays above 100% has also been fixed, ensuring the launcher displays correctly on all screen configurations.
Creature names with masters have been cleaned up in the creature interface, now showing only the creature’s proper name. A guild chat message has also been added whenever a guild buff is activated, keeping members informed.
This update represents another step forward in improving Legend of Mir HispaRed, focusing on clarity, stability and long-term quality. Thank you for your continued support and feedback as we keep refining every part of the game experience.
